T-Labs, the innovation lab of Deutsche Telekom, published a proof-of-concept called "xRide", a decentralized open mobility system based on identity and payment solutions by IOTA, ETH, Riddle & Code, Ubirch GmbH (and others). According to John Calian, Senior Vice President and Head of Deutsche Telekom’s T-Labs, the blockchain scooter is going to be launched as a pilot on September 11th, 2019 in Bonn.
