The Department of Informatics of the University of Oslo (UiO), Norway’s largest university, "joins forces" with the IOTA Foundation to research Digital Trust and the Tangle and also joins "the Tangle Enterprise Edition Working Group, a collaborative initiative hosted under the Eclipse Foundation".

Members of the TangleEE working group have elected Christoph Strnadel from Software AG, Philippe Calvez from ENGIE Lab CRIGEN and Navin Ramachandran from the ITA Foundatin as steering committee members.

The CTO of Software AG reports from a successful Tangle EE meeting, in which a Dell representative introduced additional projects "Enterprise Data Management with the Tangle" while a representative of Energinet proposed "Specification of the architecture for a decentralised system of trust on top of the Tangle in order to provide guarantees of origin", because Energinet needs these in production in 2021.
