The State Office Agriculture Hesse ("Landesbetrieb Landwirtschaft Hessen") and the IOTA Foundation cooperate in the "iotAgrar", dealing with new ways of transmitting and processing sensor data in horticulture and agriculture by leveraging decentralized data storage (DLT) via the Internet of Things (IOT). A test installation is being set up on the campus of the Geisenheim University of Applied Sciences where tamper-proof transmissions can be implemented.
